The Kill Ledger is a special book that keeps tracks of the amount of enemies you have
killed. In addition to keeping track, the ledger can be imbued with various bonuses once you reach specific kill tresholds. The Kill Ledger can also be used to capture the souls of endgame map bosses. Killing map bosses allows you to transmute the ledger for special bonuses. The bonuses aren't as important or game changing as the ascendancy ones, but they are generally easier to obtain and are mostly symbolic, meant to track your progress. The kill bonuses need to be completed in order. Trying to transmute for all skills without all the previous bonuses won't work, for example. The Kill Ledger is also essential for the skills' random effects to work, so you need to keep it in inventory at all times. The boss bonuses can be completed in any order. The Kill Ledger cannot be transfered between characters. Needless to say, each bonus is attainable only once. |
